A Good Cause

The 2023 efforts of the Juneteenth Scotland Foundation benefit the restoration of the Scotland AME Zion Church on Seven Locks Road in Potomac, Maryland.

All net proceeds from the Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival benefited the 2nd Century Project, which will repair and expand the Scotland AME Zion Church. The Church, built by hand by congregants from 1915-1924, was severely damaged by a flood in the summer of 2019.

Montgomery County residents gather to resurrect the historic building after it was damaged in a 2019 flood.
